Comprehensive Environmental Asset
& Risk Management Glossary

First Edition

Purpose Statement

Capturiant designed its global platform to support project developers in developing, creating, and listing tokenized Environmental Asset Credits that positively impact the environment. To facilitate dialogue between credit purchasers and sellers and maximize the broader environmental impact, it is important that everyone speak the same language. Capturiant has therefore sourced and aggregated market terminology in this glossary so project developers, participants, and stakeholders can effectively communicate. This glossary permits users to sort by term, source, category, synonyms, and related fields; it allows users with projects listed on other registries to identify similar and additional suitable registries; and it includes a Bibliography that lists and provides links to sources.

Capturiant expects to update this glossary regularly with accurate and up-to-date information, and encourages users to email us at info@capturiant.com with additional sources, synonyms, or other suggestions.
